Diana achieved a Masters Degree in Education and spent 10 years in that field of public and private education.
Not knowing that teachers can make good real estate agents, Diana embarked on that career in 1984. It was a very advantageous career change and through a lot of great opportunities with Prudential and Keller Williams she achieved many company awards for sales.
In 2002, Diana started Distinctive Properties of K.C. A small brokerage allowed for greater interaction with the agents and thus time to concentrate on areas such as condos both in the Plaza area and in the downtown area as well.
Training and coaching became a natural fit during this time and she was able to train at coaching clinics in the United States.
Giving back to her profession has always been most important to Diana. Hence, she was elected to the Kansas City Board of Realtors by her peers and served for 3 years. From there she went on to the state level to be a Missouri Director for 5 years, heading up a Risk Management Committee.
Helping people downsize to perhaps their last home has become a natural fit for Diana through a certification she took called SRES. (Senior Real Estate Services)
Diana has often served on many Arbitration Committees and is also a trained Mediator for the State of Missouri.
“Getting real estate right for my clients” is a job that Diana takes very seriously.
